We plan to launch
deliveries of gas to Avdiyivka before the new year. By
the end of year, the construction of the supplying pipeline to Avdiyivka from the village of Ocheretyne
should be completed. Vice
Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and
Communal Services Hennadii Zubko,
who, in the framework of a working visit to Donetsk region, visited the
construction site of the facility.
In June of this
year, 20,000 residents of Avdiyivka and settlements
of Yasynuvata area through the shelling by the
Russian terrorists as a result of the accident on the main gas pipeline were
left without gas supply.
A decision was
taken to provide the maximum alternative energy deliveries to the town of Avdiyivka. To
resolve the situation, a project for the construction of the supplying gas
pipeline was developed. The
gas pipeline to Avdiyivka is being built bypassing
the temporarily occupied territory over 14 km long.
