  • New stage of Ukraine-New Zealand cooperation commenced

    Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya accepted copies of the Credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of New Zealand (concurrently) H.E. Mrs. Mary Patricia Thurston.

    Sergiy Kyslytsya congratulated H.E. Mrs. Mary Patricia Thurston on the beginning of her diplomatic mission in Ukraine and emphasized the willingness of our state to further the development of relations with New Zealand.

    The parties discussed the current state and ways of developing bilateral political dialogue and further deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation in the practical spheres.

    Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expressed gratitude to New Zealand for its support of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine as well as hope for further proactive stance of  New Zealand on this issue.

    Both sides stressed the fruitful cooperation within international organizations, especially in the UN framework.
