Ukraine is
approaching the decentralization reform equator as evidenced by erected
kindergartens, hub schools or built kilometers of new road infrastructure, but
above all by the new quality of services provision in communities and
improvement of the citizens' lives. Vice
Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and
Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko announced during the Second All-Ukrainian Forum of
the Consolidated Communities.
"Nowadays we
can talk about 665 communities in which first elections either have already took place or will be held in December 2017. Taking
into account the communities awaiting for the Central Election Commission decision,
688 CCs will have been formed by the beginning of 2018. And this fact brings
Ukraine closer to the equator of the reform. After
all, the number of amalgamated communities is transformed into a new quality of
people’s lives - convenient administrative services in CASPs, in high quality
education for children and better competitiveness after training", said Hennadii Zubko.
