European Commission promulgates a procedure providing for the administration of import tariff quotas of certain cereals from Ukraine

On November 29,
2017, the European Commission published an Implementing
Regulation (EU) 2017/2200 of 28 November
2017 opening
and providing for the administration
of import tariff quotas of
certain cereals from Ukraine (https://goo.gl/g7ko3f).
As was reported
by Ukrainian Ministry of Economic Development, Ukrainian grain exporters have obtained
an opportunity to export grains to the EU without payment of duties within the
fixed limits, in particular wheat in the amount of 65,000 tons per year, corn -
625,000 tons per year, barley, barley flour and pellets - 325,000 tons per
year.
The Regulation
will enter into force from 1 January 2018 and be valid to 31 December
2020.
