Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman initiates amendments to the antimonopoly legislation in order to change the work of the Antimonopoly Committee and to eliminate corruption threats in the activities of the authority. This statement was issued by the Head of Government, while derlievering a speech at the International Mayors Summit. He stressed that only this year AMCU actions caused the disruption of several large tenders at once - first of all, the purchase of equipment for customs and the construction of new carriages for Ukrzaliznytsya.

"The abolishment of tenders has tough signs of corruption and this is a crime against the state. We are shaping amendments to the legislation. All those involved in corruption schemes shall be responsible before the law," underscored the Prime Minister.
