The main
focus of civil service
reform, launched in 2014 and widely implemented in May of 2016, is to bring new
people to executive authorities, new people capable of embodying the change and
truly devoted to serving the country. This
was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during an international conference "Public
Administration in Ukraine: Assessing the State of Affairs, Achievements and
Challenges".
The Head of
Government stressed that until recently the civil service used to be one of the
most conservative and closed systems. Instead,
fundamental changes would not have been possible without proper quality of administration.
