Prime Minister of
Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman counts on the approval
of the draft state budget
in general until December 10. This statement was issued by
the Prime Minister during the session of
the Government and relevant instructions were given to the Ministry of Finance
of Ukraine and to the
members of the Cabinet of
Ministers of Ukraine, who will
be preparing the draft for
the second reading in the
Parliament.
"I would like
the budget to be endorsed
in the first
decade of December," the Prime Minister underscored.
He thanked the
President of Ukraine, members of the Parliament,
officials for quality work on
drawing up the draft state
budget and the approval in
the first reading.
Background
The Verkhovna Rada
of Ukraine gave first reading
to the draft
state budget for 2018 offered by the Government
and elaborated within the framework
of three-year budget planning that takes into
account the recommendations of international financial organizations, and prepared on the
expectation of a 2.4% deficit with a forecast inflation rate of 7% and
growth economy 3%. A respective resolution was backed by
260 lawmakers.
