Acting Secretary of State of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine Volodymyr Hovor said it during a briefing before direct government telephone line. “Almost half of structural units of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been reorganized under the NATO staffs structure. The Ukrainian Navy command and other command units also undergo transformations under the Alliance principles”, Mr Hovor said.

It is expected that Special Operations Forces to achieve their full capabilities till the end of this year.

The command units of operational level of the Army, Air Force, and Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine undergo transformations to the appropriate NATO staffs structures.
