«We continue
to seek and
involve international partners in the
Energy Efficiency Fund. Apart from
the European Union and the
Government of Germany, with whom
we are already
collaborating and who are also
ready to provide financial and technical assistance
in this direction,
we expect Denmark to become
a partner in this sector», claimed
Vice Prime Minister/ Minister for Regional Development,
Construction, Housing and Utilities of
Ukraine Hennadii Zubko on the
outcomes of the meeting with Ruben Madsen, the
Ambassador of the Kingdom Denmark
in Ukraine and Tina Kollerup
Hansen, Investment Director, Danida Business Finance.
«The participation
of Danish companies in the
Fund projects related to engineering
in the areas
of energy audit and energy
sciences, the development of technical solutions, the provision of
equipment, and the possibility of joining the
multi-donors fund to co-finance the
implementation of
energy-efficient measures is
seen as a promising direction. Moreover, Denmark is interested
in implementing municipal infrastructure projects in Ukraine,
in particular in the areas
of water, heat supply, household
waste management and modernization of social facilities»,
stressed the Vice Prime Minister.
According to him,
Ministry for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of
Ukraine will prepare shortly a package of investment
projects that will be proposed
to the Danish
side.
