Ukraine and Turkey signed the Implementation Protocol on geographic information cooperation

In the
framework of the session of the Ukraine-Turkey High-Level Strategic Council,
the governments of the two countries signed the Implementation Protocol on
geographic information cooperation. It will allow cooperating in topographic
geodesic and cartographic activities considering the interests of the armed
forces of the both countries.
Under this
protocol the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine will have
possibility to receive technical assistance from the Turkish party in military
geography, as well as form the legal basis for the Turkish-Ukrainian defence cooperation such as sharing cartographic materials,
joint projects for development of geological information products, military
geography experience sharing and specialists training.
