On October 9, the signing ceremony of the Declaration on the accession of Dnipro to the ProZorro e-procurement platform was held. On this occasion, a press briefing took place in the Dnipro city hall with the participation of First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Maxym Nefyodov and Mayor of Dnipro Borys Filatov.

From now on, the sale and lease of communal property of the city will be held transparently and efficiently. «Conducting open and transparent public auctions is an important priority for the team. For example, through ProZorro system non-strategic objects and premises can be sold or leased In this case, the price can be increased by 12%. That means the local budget will receive additional funds. In general, a modern platform will create healthy competition, and investors, including foreign ones, will be able to work in accordance with uniform rules. The transparency of the bidding process can be monitored by the public», emphasized Borys Filatov during a press conference.

«Over a year the ProZorro system has sold property to the tune of more than 3 billion hryvnias and became the system of sales of state assets №1. We started with ProZorro's government procurement, then transferred to the sale of assets of insolvent banks, and now - we sell property of state-owned enterprises», stressed the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine during the press briefing and added that at present more than 10 cities of Ukraine, large communal companies and state-owned enterprises have joined the project.
