The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will consistently maintain and persevere in supporting the transparent system of refund of value added tax introduced in spring of this year, as well as expresses commitment by all means to offset all the attempts to restore old corruption schemes in this area. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said in the context of discussing legislation drafted to improve taxation process.

The Head of Government reminded that operation of the electronic register of tax documents disables any interference with the system, eliminates ‘human component’, and thus reduces to zero the possibility of corruption in the area of VAT refunds.

"I won’t allow anyone ruining the VAT refund system. We took a landmark decision to introduce a transparent VAT refund scheme. We destroyed old schemes, and nobody will have chance to recover them. This is the unanimous position of the Government and, I assure you, the President's position will coincide with ours," the Head of Government emphasized.
