State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Andrii Zayats met with Mrs. Claude Halil Al Hajal, Ambassador of the Lebanese Republic to Ukraine, who is completing her diplomatic mission in Ukraine.

It is noted, that in the fall of 2017, Ukraine and Lebanon will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

In addition, both sides noted the importance of conducting the Ukrainian-Lebanon Business Forum, on 24-27 October, 2017 in Beirut.

During the meeting the sides discussed the current state and prospects of the Ukrainian-Lebanese relations, emphasized necessity of maintaining bilateral political contacts, development of cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, as well as cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations.

State Secretary expressed gratitude to Mrs. Claude Al Hajal for her work as the Head of the Lebanese Diplomatic Mission in Ukraine and wished her every success in her future activities.
