Zubko.
According to the Vice Prime Minister, authorized representative of the
Federal Government of Germany will perform functions in Ukraine already
starting from September.
«The decentralization reform is one of the most far-reaching reforms and
has already yielded positive financial and material results. The reform has
been highly praised by the European Union countries, inter alia Germany with
the support of which many projects are being implemented in Ukraine. Delegation
of the envoy for decentralization issues is another indicator of the successful
delivery of the reform. Decentralization has the largest support of the EU
among other reforms. Germany is our reliable partner in pursuing both the
decentralization and energy efficiency reforms. I am assured that the
appointment of the authorized person will deepen our partnership in terms of
cooperation between regions of Ukraine and Germany, as well as the
implementation of infrastructure projects using best practices of Germany», Hennadii
