As a result of the nationalization at the end of 2016, Privatbank is a system bank that boasts dozens millions depositors and operates sustainably, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on air at the ICTV channel.

Commenting on the situation with the Privatbank, in particular regarding the decisions on the capital top-up and restructuring of debts of its previous owners, the Head of Government stressed that all the issues should be resolved "exclusively in the legal plane."

"The stability of Privatbank isn’t in jeopardy, it is absolutely steady. The Bank has management, has a Supervisory Board, hired lawyers and auditors. They are working to protect the interests of the state", said Volodymyr Groysman.
