Prime Minister attended the Sixth National Prayer Breakfast for Ukraine
Prime Minister of
Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman participated
in the Sixth National Prayer Breakfast for Ukraine and peace in our country. In
his address to the attendees, among which were MPs of Ukraine, top officials,
diplomats, orphaned children and children of ATO heroes, the Prime Minister
said that it is a good tradition to come together and start a morning prayer
for our native country.
“The event, uniting
in its essence, brings warmth, understanding – those things we are lacking. I am
taking part in this event for the second time, and for me it is a great honor”,
said Volodymyr Groysman. “Sometimes
we are split, we lack wisdom. But we bear a great responsibility for our native
country. We must fight for Ukraine to become successful, for peace to reign in
the country, and for our ability to realize all our desires... We must win the
fight for our country and the welfare of our people. And along this way faith
and prayer will help us arrive to correct decisions.”
The National Prayer Breakfast is a long-standing tradition of many democratic countries. For over 60 years these are taking place in the US, Germany, the UK. Prayer Breakfast is the event for politicians, Government officials, diplomats and business representatives to reveal spiritual unity and understanding.
