Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman gave instructions to the leadership of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine to speed up work on drafting a law on the introduction in Ukraine of electronic excise stamps as instruments of control over the circulation of excisable goods as well as instrument to prevent s production and sale of smuggled goods. «We have the only way to bring excisable goods on open and transparency - is to introduce the electronic excise stamps. Other methods are not existing. It will be a constant fight against shadow schemes. The electronic excise stamps – is a system which is used in the world, noted the Head of the Government. There are tens of billions of hryvnias which can be used to fill revenue part of the state as well as local budget. I am in line to commission the Ministry of Finance - to accelerate work on drafting of the bill, submit it to the Government for consideration , thereafter to send the aforesaid bill to the Parliament. We must adopt a transparent and competitive law that will put a decisive end to this issue».
