Volodymyr Groysman introduces in Parliament the basics of the draft pension reform

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during A Question Time to the Government at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine introduced the draft pension reform, developed by the Cabinet of Ministers, basing on principles of restoring social justice, improvement the level of pension payments, cancellation of taxation of pensions for working pensioners, automatic updating of pensions and ensuring the deficit-free budget of the Pension Fund.

Presenting a project of the reform, the Prime Minister stressed that the draft reform had been shaped into a draft law to be discussed at the meeting of the National Council of Reforms, and aftermath in the session hall of the Parliament.

"We have found a practical solution accounting for the current state of the economy. And it's the justice must awaited by the Ukrainian citizens”, stressed the Head of Government. “I hope the amendments will be approved by the end of the session. It's time to make decisions that will bring about positive transformations into lives of Ukrainian citizens. Ukrainian pensioners and we, as the Government, need your support".
