
Volodymyr Groysman: The decision of the EU Council on visa liberalization is a symbol of restoring justice to Ukraine
The Council of the European Union has adopted a final regulation on visa
liberalisation for Ukrainian citizens travelling to
the EU from 11 June. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said at the
beginning of a Government meeting on Thursday.
“I have very good news. The Council of Ministers of the European Union
has just approved a historic final decision on visa-free travel for Ukrainian
citizens", stressed the Head of Government. The adopted regulation will be
officially signed on May 17 and starting June 11, Ukrainian citizens can travel
to Europe without visas”, underlined Volodymyr Groysman.
“That time has come and it is tremendous news”. The
restoration of justice to Ukraine and to all our efforts. "I
congratulate all of you on the fact and in this context I wish all Ukrainian
citizens our further joint European integration course”, summed up the Prime
Minister.
