Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of
Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze
held a meeting with leader of Moderate Party of Sweden and of the parliamentary
opposition Anna Kinberg Batra.
The talks concerned in particular bilateral relations between countries,
progress of Ukraine in the process of implementation of reforms and joint
efforts in countering Russian aggression.

thanked Sweden for an unwavering support of Ukraine on the international arena.
«The Swedish position in Europe regarding Russian aggression remains
impregnable and objective. We are pleased that Sweden has a parliamentary
multi-party support for Ukraine. And we really appreciate this fact”.
The Vice Prime Minister briefed interlocutors about the process of
pursuing reforms. Anna Kinberg Batra
commended Ukraine’s endeavors especially in conditions of war with Russia. She
stressed the importance of further implementation of anti-corruption measures
as well as completion of judicial reform. In turn, the Vice Prime Minister
expressed gratitude to the Swedish side for consistent support of gender
equality issues.
Apart from that, the sides touched upon the situation in east of Ukraine
and stressed the pressing need to expand and strengthen the mandate of the
OSCE’s Special Monitoring Mission. Thus it would allow to
monitor the situation in the combat zone, to provide access of the
Mission to the temporarily uncontrolled sections of the Ukrainian-Russian
border as well as to all uncontrolled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk
regions.
