Due to a large construction of facilities of the Dniester PSP the economy will amount to 700 thousand tons of coal, or 446 million cubic meters of natural gas. The transition of power units №2 and №5 of Zmiyivska TPP of PJSC Centrenergo to the coal of gas group will enable the country to save up to 1 million tons of anthracite coal per year, while the implementation of the project for the construction of the Zaporizhzhia NPP – Kakhovska line is equivalent to the economy of coal amounting to 750 thousand tons a year.

"If rumours were spread that we have done nothing in this issue, this is not true. The truth is that in our work we were guided by the existing opportunities", said the Head of Government. He reminded that along with construction of energy facilities Ukraine engages in increasing domestic gas production, which also facilitates achieving energy independence.
