The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine within the framework of continuing reform of public administration and of restarting of the central executive and local authorities is planning to offer this autumn a large-scale reboot of the personnel policy and to invite a thousand of young professionals to work in the Government as well as in nine ministries. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman at the Gov't session.

"We are starting a wide-ranging programme – I believe that this step is a quite revolutionary measure for the Government -a large-scale, systemic reform of the ministries, stressed Volodymyr Groysman. Primarily, nine ministries would be reformed, actually overloaded in order to accomplish the tasks assigned completely and professionally”.

The Head of Government underlined that the motivational component, in particular the issue of competitive salary would be resolved due to combining the funding of the European Union and the state budget. This is a fundamental proposition. We want to have a quality professional staff to continue reforms”, accentuated Volodymyr Groysman.

The Prime Minister stressed that the improvement of the personnel of the public service will enable the country to move from the Soviet system of governance towards a modern European model at all levels.

“It is crucial to ensure the public service to be professional and adequate from the point of view and from the quality of their work, as well as from the perception of the real situation in order to elaborate the necessary decisions aimed to be the basis for the formation of a strong Ukraine", urged the Head of Government.
