
Gov't has allocated additionally UAH 45 million for liquidation of consequences of the accident in Balaklia after explosions rocked an ammunition depot
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine pursuant to the commission of the
Prime Minister and in response to the Kharkiv regional
state administration request has adopted a decision on the allocation of
additionally UAH 45 million for liquidation of consequences of the accident
caused by explosions at the military depot in the city of Balaklia
in March.
“We had promised the residents of Balaklia
that we would not leave them alone hence we are committed to support in order
to eliminate all the consequences of this accident," said Volodymyr
Groysman, while commenting on the adoption of the decision.
He recalled that the Government had allocated UAH 100 million in March
to clear the territory in the town of Balaklia and
the nearby settlements of Kharkiv region of
unexploded objects.
