Prime Minister urges Ukrainians to seize the opportunity of Government's program of free medicine

The Government has budgeted sufficient resources including standby funds to ensure full implementation of the program of providing free medicines to cure the three diseases, and therefore the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman calls on Ukrainians to use the offered opportunities.

While communicating with journalists in the framework of the working trip to Kropyvnytskyi, the Head of Government stressed: “I want to assure you that we will provide full budgeting of this program. We possess necessary resources, even more we have reserve resources. Thereby I would like our citizens to use all opportunities of this program and just to be healthy."

Herewith he offered citizens to contact the Government hotline 1545 in order to obtain the necessary information.

The Prime Minister underscored that Government‘s program of free medicine triggered on April 1 is permanent. Moreover, the Government introduces other programs designed to reduce morbidity and mortality. One of these programs is the development of cardiac centers throughout the country.

“We should speed up the implementation of this program, urged Volodymyr Groysman. Angiographic equipment, professionals should be all over Ukraine to ensure the access of citizens to treatment. It will enable us to reduce mortality as well as disability. That's what we struggle to achieve.  We ought to create conditions to increase lifespan of Ukrainians”.
