The liberalization of the visa regime will strengthen ties between Ukraine and Estonia says Volodymyr Groysman during a meeting with Prime Minister of Estonia
The liberalization of the visa regime will contribute to enhancement of
bilateral collaboration and to increase the flow of people between countries,
noted Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman commenting on the relevant decision by the
European Parliament during a meeting with Prime Minister of the Republic of
Estonia Jüri Ratas
which took place in the framework of the Ukrainian-Baltic Forum of Heads of Governments
and of the 10th Kyiv Security Forum.
“Ukrainian citizens will have the opportunity to cross the border [with
the European Union] without visas. It will improve our cooperation and deepen
the flow of people visiting our countries”, stressed Volodymyr
Groysman.
In his turn, Jüri Ratas
congratulated Ukraine on the launch of visa-free travel with the EU, adding that
this event has happened at an appropriate time and has a significant meaning for
Ukraine, citizens as well as for Europe.

thanked the Prime Minister of Estonia for an unwavering support of Ukraine in
the international arena and within the EU, in particular countering Russian
aggression.
“The visa-free regime, ratification [of the Association Agreement with
the EU], more extensive implementation of the Agreement are issues which we are
expecting for today, moreover these issues will have an impact on our achievements
and on pursuing our reforms," noted the Prime Minister of Ukraine. He
singled out that Ukraine is also waiting for the finalizing of the ratification
of EU-Ukraine Association Agreement in the coming months.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Estonia Jüri
Ratas assured that Estonia supports Ukraine in the
context of Russian aggression as well as on the path to the European
integration. "Estonia fully supports Ukraine, your freedom, as well as the
European integration course”, underscored the Prime Minister.
