On February 20, 2017, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko held a meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine Lee Yang-goo and former National Assembly Speaker, Head of the Committee of ethnic Koreans under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Korea Park Kwan-Yong.

During the meeting the interlocutors discussed meaningful events on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of deportation of ethnic Koreans from Far East and commemoration of the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and Ukraine.

In addition, the Vice Prime Minister and members of the South Korean delegation exchanged thoughts concerning ways to prolong interstate cooperation in economic ,cultural, educational and social spheres and highlighted the willingness to strengthen the dynamics of fruitful collaboration in all fields.
