Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman counts that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will soon consider in the second reading the draft law on the electricity market of Ukraine designed to create a transparent electricity market. The Head of the Government announced during the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

"We need to adopt necessary laws. One such law is the act on electricity market, which is currently in the Ukrainian Parliament, it was adopted in the first reading and, hopefully, will be soon prepared for the second reading", said Volodymyr Groysman.

"This will give the opportunity to build an open European electricity market. All of us are interested in that", stressed the Head of Government.
