The Government is developing approaches that will allow the Ukrainian enterprises to participate in all public tenders. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman told during A Question Time at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Friday.
"The Ukrainian Government supports and will further pursue policies to support our national industry. We are currently developing approaches that will allow our Ukrainian businesses to fully participate in all public tenders and for us it is important to ensure each Ukrainian hryvnia be invested in our national economy. We'll do our best to support the Ukrainian enterprises in the manufacturing of products with maximum localization, with added value in order to provide Ukrainians with jobs and decent wages," said Volodymyr Groysman.
"For
us, for the Government, it is of great significance to secure that maximum of
what we can buy would be 100% Ukrainian origin”, he stressed.
With
regards to a question about a threat to the implementation of the project for reconstruction
of three compressor stations, the tenders for which were recently conducted by
the company Ukrtransgaz, Volodymyr Groysman noted
that the Government had no authority to favor or discourage the bidders
participating in tenders through the electronic system ProZorro:
"It is beyond the competence of the Government".
The Prime
Minister expressed hope that the tender had been fair and transparent and there
had not been any grounds to repeal or revise it.
