He highlighted that by adopting relevant decision "we have managed to cut off corruption at the root in the domain of gas price formation."
Volodymyr
Groysman noted that certain political forces were currently intimidating people
by manipulating with the topic of tariffs for housing and communal services.
"Yes,
they [rates] are high, but there are compensatory mechanisms: the government
will pay for everyone who needs that but those who have the money - let them
pay. This means social justice. Everyone just ought to do his/her job, instead
of harassing people", urged the Head of Government, speaking about the
system of subsidies and other counterbalances provided by the Government for
the citizens.
"Everything will be absolutely fine, the situation in the country will stabilize," he said.
The Prime Minister noted that the country's default rating has been recently raised, Ukraine's economy is starting to recover, in third quarter a GDP growth is observed at the level of 1.8%. "Is this sufficient? No, it's insufficient. But it is a good sign that says that if we work hard for Ukraine, we will achieve growth at the level of 7-8-10%. But for this purpose we should do the work instead of just talking about it," stressed Volodymyr Groysman.
