The restoration of the national industry will create national competitive product, which is key to the economic recovery of the country. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a visit to the Darnytsia car-repair plant of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia in Kyiv on Thursday.

"We have to revive the industry of our country and head it toward the domestic production, satisfaction of demand in Ukraine. It would be entirely consistent with our plans for the revival of the national economy. Ukraine has no other way to escape from poverty", Volodymyr Groysman said.

According to him, it is important to revive national economy in Ukraine and it can be done when Ukraine will produce a national product.

The PM stressed that Ukraine should move away a commodity type of economy and stop to be a resource colony.

Promising areas of the industry, according to PM, are in particular aircraft industry, mechanical engineering. It is also necessary to start the production of new trolley buses, trams, wagons, small machines, harvesters in Ukraine, the Prime Minister said.

"I believe that Ukraine can produce many things of good quality independently", Volodymyr Groysman said.

"Our main task today is to create a normal product and the normal jobs so that a man could come to work, do the work well and get normal wage," the Head of Government said.
