Business cannot be held captive and produce national product and develop under pressure by regulatory agencies, so it is vital to implement such changes in the country allowing entrepreneurs to feel independent. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced at the meeting of the National Council of Reforms chaired by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on Tuesday.
"We must take fast these decisions [regarding the changes in tax administration], introduce them and then monitor the situation what else we should change to ensure business feel independent. Then it will develop, then it will boost. In captivity, none can create a lot of beautiful things. Now there is bondage. There are actually positive things, single sectors, but, by and large, today we must transform the entire country into a place where there is economic growth, where each hryvnia, dollar, euro being invested brings success", said Volodymyr Groysman.
In this regard the Prime Minister reminded that the Government had established a number of tools, namely the Investment Support Office and the National Industry Development Committee, thereby contributing to improving the business climate in the country. These are also connected with the National Council of Reforms.
However, the Prime Minister considers it expedient to accelerate the process of deregulation in the country.
"We will speed up this process. We will see where we have problems and what solutions to find. But then, again, in synergy. No reform in our country is possible without the support of the President, Parliament, and without an understanding of the need for change by the Government of the country. No reform is possible, if it confronts interests of our country or disregards interests of experts", summed up the Prime Minister.
