The Government "on the economic front" will do everything in order to support the military and to provide the army with advanced weapons.

This was started by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a meeting with the instructor-teaching staff of a training centre of High Mobility Landing Troops of Armed forces of Ukraine – participants of ATO in 2014-2016.

"Our goal and first priority of the Government – we should provide the Ukrainian army with the necessary financial, technical resources to ensure that our soldiers received support, weapons and all that is necessary to effective defend our country effectively", - the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister recalled that the Government has recently drafted amendments to the State budget of the country by decision of the Council of National Security and Defense of Ukraine where it identifies an additional 3.8 billion for logistical support of the military.

The Government plans to increase financing of the army for UAH 14 billion next year. "This will enable in cause of the rational use of these resources improve the security and weapons [of army] significantly," - Volodymyr Groysman noted.
