Forming of a register of internally displaced persons (IDPs) will enable to determine best ways to provide necessary assistance. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman at the Government session on Thursday.
"Today the Ministry of Social Policy will table proposals to create a registry of internally displaced persons, which is a very important question. If there is a particular record, then we know how many internally displaced persons we have, what these people need", stressed Volodymyr Groysman, offering for the consideration by the Cabinet of Ministers an issue of approval of the Procedure of establishment, filling and access to information contained in a Single database on IDPs.
Using this tool for attracting donor support, combining all resources and capabilities of international funds, we must do our utmost to ensure integration of territories of Donbas controlled by Ukrainian government, as well as support for internally displaced persons, "who were forced to flee their homes as a result of Russian aggression", said the Head of Government.
"At such a time we should demonstrate sympathy and care about those who need our support and assistance," he urged.
