19 May 2016, a radio FM transmitter at the frequency of 95.7
MHz was activated in Avdiivka of Donetsk region and began broadcasting the
radio "Holos Donbasa" ("Voice of Donbas") at 16:30 that
will work around the clock in this territory.
Transmitting equipment was installed pursuant to the decision
of the Commission on ensuring stable operation of national television and radio
broadcasting under the Ministry of information policy of Ukraine.
Tetiana Popova, Deputy Minister of information policy of
Ukraine: "The radio "Holos Donbasa" ("Voice of
Donbas") is now available on the frequency of 67,34 MHz in Mariupol, 100,3
MHz in Volnovakha, 88.0 MHz in Shchastya, 95.7 MHz in Avdeiivka and on the
website of TV channel "Do TeBe" ("To you") www.dotb.dn.ua.
MIP of Ukraine and BRT Concern are taking all necessary measures to increase
the geographical coverage of the Ukrainian TV and radio".
Note that regional radio has not worked for more than two years after its seizing in Donetsk by militants. The broadcast is renewed from 1 July 2016.
