Ukraine set a new record of grain exports

Ukraine set a new record of grain exports, which exceeded last year's figure by nearly by 5 million tonnes.

Previous volumes of grain exports in 2015/2016 marketing period amounted about  39 million tons, of which:

- wheat - 17 354 thousand tons;

- corn - 17 396 thousand tons;

- barley - 4409 thousand tons;

- other cereals - 256 thousand tons.

Last year’s exports exceeded by 4.61 million tons, or 113%.

Recall that in the previous 2014/2015 marketing year exports made up  34805 thousand tons. Since July 1, began a new marketing year 2016/2017, which will end on June 30, 2017.
