Volodymyr Groysman discussed further investment in Ukraine with representatives of Unilever
Prime Minister of
Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman met
with representatives of Unilever company, during which
the sides discussed plans for further investment and the company’s functioning
in Ukraine.
On July 1, 2016, Unilever
will launch a new factory of the tea production in Gostomel,
the annual production capacity of which will make up 1600 tons of famous tea
brands. "I
am pleased that you are developing investments in Ukraine, creating new enterprises,"
said the Prime Minister.
The
representatives of the company noted the improvement and simplification of doing
business with representatives of the Government and tax authorities.
The parties
discussed the potential of Ukraine, ways of improving the investment attractiveness
of the state, as well as the first actions of the Government in carrying out
reforms.
Volodymyr Groysman has emphasized the importance of creating a normal
business climate in Ukraine in order to create the right conditions for life in
the country. Deregulation,
judicial reform and the fight against corruption will help achieve this goal,
he pointed out.
"Ukraine is going through a difficult period in its history and needs the responsible attitude, responsible authorities. There are many challenges, but I am an optimistic and believe that we can overcome these challenges and create the right conditions for life and development in Ukraine," stated the Prime Minister.
