Ukraine is ready to reform economy of agro-industrial complex on European standards

Ukraine will increase cooperation with EU for the beneficial integration of Ukrainian agricultural sector to the European Community. Taras Kutovyi, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, stated during his speech at the European and Ukrainian agrarian business round table.

According to the Minister, it`s important for Ukraine during the formation of agrarian policy to use the experience of the EU in the issues of reformation economy of agriculture sector.

 «The reforming of agriculture takes place considering different internal and external conditions. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine understands the role and place of farming in the development of national and international economy,» Taras Kutovyi stressed.

The Minister stressed that the Ministry has already done a significant amount of work and established regular dialogue with European partners according to cooperation in the agricultural sector.

As Taras Kutovyi noted, the dynamic volumes of the bilateral trade between the EU and Ukraine show the prospects in the agro-industrial complex and in further will be increasing in the framework of the Free Trade Zone.
