On 19 and 21 June, in Zaporozhia and Dnipro an exhibition of historical photos and screening of the Belgian film "Cafard" about the history of the expeditionary battalion of Belgian volunteers, who during the First world war were located on the territory of Ukraine were held with participation of the Ambassador of Belgium to Ukraine Luc Jacobs and assisted by the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine.

Technical support for the event was provided by the regional state administrations.

The historical photo exhibition that was shown in cinemas traces the historical facts on which the film is based. The documented exhibition was prepared by the Belgian Institute of War Veterans, at the initiative of the Embassy of Belgium.

The Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine organized the translation of the film into Ukrainian and provided information support.

Following screenings of the film and photo exhibition to be held on 25 and 26 of June in the cities of Kramatorsk and Sievierodonetsk.
