LITPOLUKRBRIG staff finishes Military Decision Process and issues the OPORD

Poland — Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade staff following the ANAKONDA 16 scenario accomplished Military Decision Making Process according to the NATO standards and issued Operational Order for peace enforcement mission in a fictional country.

Officers and noncommissioned officers from three establishing countries under supervision of Deputy Commander Colonel Volodymyr Yudanov and Chief of Staff Lieutenant Colonel Eligijus Senulis conducted a challenging mission analysis. They developed realistic courses of action and exercised them in so called “war gaming”. After LITPOLUKRBRIG Commander Brigadier General Adam Joks’ approval, there was designated COA 2 as the most appropriate to successfully execute the tasks.

“In a busy operational environment staff officers met LITPOLUKRBRIG Leaders’ expectations and proved their ability to plan overseas missions counting on internal and external challenges. I am happy to see the growth of professionalism and teamwork among Polish, Lithuanian and Ukrainian soldiers aimed at proceeding and succeeding in operations. However, the work is not done yet, before us is a one week way of simulating real operation, running combined Polish-Ukrainian unit and accomplish our certification as a Headquarters,” stated Brigadier General Adam Joks.
