It is crucial to remember every day the peculiar needs of children and to create conditions that will allow children to get high quality education and develop their potential. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, opening a Government meeting on Wednesday.

"I would like to congratulate the entire Ukraine on Children's Day. This is a very important day, as we focus on the need for special care of children, protection of their rights, on creating normal conditions for their life and development. But I think that it will be fair, when each day of our lives will be devoted to making lives of Ukrainian children better than we had, to creating better environment. To do this, we should always remember about their special children's needs", said Volodymyr Groysman.

According to him, it is vital to provide favourable environment, allowing children to foster their talents. "Children have no second chance to visit the garden, get quality education, they have no second chances in life to develop their abilities at an early age”, said the Prime Minister. “We have wonderful children".

Thus, the needs of children is among top priorities of the Cabinet of Ministers, in particular, in education and healthcare sectors, which were determined in the recently approved Plan of high priority steps of the Government by the end of 2016, stressed Volodymyr Groysman.

"So I'd really like us to be determined to implement our commitments we have assumed, including to increase the number of places in kindergartens, preschool facilities and many other issues," he noted.

The agenda of the session of the Government on Wednesday envisages considering of issues of rehabilitation and protection of children, said the Prime Minister.
