The Parties discussed the preparations for a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission scheduled for 9 July during the Warsaw Summit in the framework of the activities of the Alliance at the top political level.
Peculiar attention was paid to the state of preparation of the Strategic Defence Bulletin, aimed to become a roadmap and conceptual framework for the military reform.
The participants of the event stressed the need to intensify activity of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service within the scope of the NATO Professional Development Program for civil servants of the security and defense sector of Ukraine. The relevant courses operating in Ukraine with the support of the NATO received positive evaluation.
During the talks the Parties discussed the activity of NATO Trust Funds in support of defense capacity of Ukraine, launched at the Wales NATO-Ukraine Summit in September of 2014. It was noted the need to improve interagency coordination of the work of these Trust Funds and their management.
