Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt: I'm very proud of what we've achieved as a partner of Ukraine in defence sphere

“The USA are satisfied with the level of defence reforms in Ukraine and cooperation with Kyiv in this area,” US Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt said at a press conference, “I’m very proud of what we’ve achieved as a partner of Ukraine in the defence sphere”.

Particularly, the Ambassador praised the training of the Ukrainian military conducted by foreign instructors, as well as ongoing defence reforms.

“Minister of Defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak along with his team has achieved success”, Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt remarked and stressed the importance of the Ukraine-NATO cooperation reminding that the Alliance Summit would be held in July.
