26 January
2016, the Commission on ensuring stable operation of national TV and Radio
broadcasting has decided to allocate 200 watt analog transmitter to enhance
broadcasting in the city of Dzerzhynsk in Donetsk
region, pursuant to the appeal of the Dzerzhynsk city
council.
Now
broadcasting of "TV and Radio Company TRC-8" that belongs to the Dzerzhynsk city council, is aired
via obsolete equipment, which affects the quality of the signal. In this
regard, the deputies appealed to the Ministry of information policy of Ukraine
with a request for help.
The
Chairman of the Commission Tetiana Popova noted the support to such requests and said:
"MIP of Ukraine jointly with BRT Concern and the National Council are
taking all necessary measures to increase the geographical coverage of the
Ukrainian TV and Radio broadcasters. We are ready to provide 200 watts
transmitter in the meter range for signal amplification of Ukrainian TV
channel. We are waiting from the city council for a response about readiness to
pick up and use the transmitter".
MIP is
prepared to allocate the transmitters to regional state administrations, city
councils and broadcasters to amplify the signal for Ukrainian channels in ATO
zone.
