MIP to arrange a request for the issuance of a residence permit for foreign media

2016, the Verkhovna Rada of
Ukraine adopted the Law that will
fast-track the examination of documents of foreign media to enter and stay in
Ukraine, when applying to the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine.
The main
purpose is to facilitate complex procedure of issue of the residence permit for
foreign media.
MIP will
serve as a mediator in the coordination between the State Migration Service of
Ukraine and foreign media. Thus, the processing of foreign media' documents
after their submission will be fast-tracked. The Law provides that the Ministry
of Information Policy of Ukraine is to arrange a request for the issuance of
residence permits for foreigners and stateless persons who are representatives
of the media.
