21 January 2016, the Ministry of information policy of Ukraine presented the system of electronic public procurement "Prozorrо" to representatives of news agency "Ukrinform" and state television and radio company "UTR", which is in accordance with the Law "On international broadcasting system of Ukraine", will soon be transformed into the International broadcasting multimedia platform of Ukrainian. The event was attended by the director of electronic platform e-tender Ivanna Melnyk of project "Prozorrо", which explained how the system works and what is needed to perform the perfect trades.

"Prozorrо" is an electronic system of interaction of public customer trades and services and the supplier. It was created by volunteers at their own expense and directed on overcoming of corruption in public procurement.

"Prozorrо" helps to make public tenders accessible to any business. All procurements in the system can be traced in real time. Participation does not require collecting a lot of paper documents as the necessary materials are delivered only by company winner. All terms and conditions of purchase are open and anyone can go to the portal and see how the purchase is carried out. The Ministry of information policy of Ukraine was one of the first who joined this system on a voluntary basis in May of last year. It held 48 purchases more than $ 3 million. More than 50 thousand UAH were saved by using this system.

Recall that in December 2015 was adopted the Law "On public procurement". Now "Prozorrо" becomes statutory for the implementation of public procurement. From April 2016, in a mandatory manner, the system will be used by ministries, departments, large state-owned companies and etc.
