Pavlo Rozenko: We launch streamlining of the Pension Fund structure and introduction of centralized database of pensioners

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution to reorganize certain territorial bodies of the Pension Fund by merging or renaming certain departments. This was stated by Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko.

"This process will enable to reduce the maintenance costs of the Fund by optimizing of functions and combining smaller units," the Minister said.

159 out of total 683 territorial administrations of the Pension Fund will be abolished. Instead, on their basis there will be established departments to provide services locally.

According to the Minister of Social Policy, there won’t be any subdivision which ceases providing direct assistance and services. Another novelty is the Pension Fund launches the operation of a centralized database of pensioners.
