Ukraine and
Turkmenistan have established a Council on industrial policy aimed at
developing trade between the two countries, creating new jobs and intensifying
production.

Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities
of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko
and Industry Minister of Turkmenistan Saparmurad Orazmuradov signed the corresponding
agreement on cooperation in industry between the Government of Ukraine and the
Government of Turkmenistan during the official visit of President of Ukraine
Petro Poroshenko to Turkmenistan
on Thursday, 29 October.
"We are
creating a Council for industrial policy, which will analyze the situation and
prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and Turkmenistan in this area, as well
as develop proposals and recommendations for its revitalization," said Hennadii Zubko.
According to the official, Ukraine and Turkmenistan will coordinate industrial policy in the following areas: the development of industrial cooperation and implementation of joint projects and programs between economic entities of the states, creation of favorable conditions for the innovative industrial development of economies.
