On Wednesday, September 9, in the framework of the working visit to
Warsaw, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with President of the
Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda.
The Head of the Polish state reassured of the continued support of Ukraine,
its sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized
borders. He stressed that the conflict in Ukraine requires a long-term solution
that will be possible due to the involvement in the negotiation process of
Ukraine's neighbouring states, those understanding
and firmly backing Ukraine.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine highly appreciated the intention of the
Polish side to more actively participate in resolving the conflict in Eastern
Ukraine. "Poland is our reliable partner, as it is well aware of the level
of threat for Europe posed by Russia," he highlighted.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk expressed gratitude to Poland for their succour in realization of the European choice of Ukraine
and the implementation of reforms in our state.
