On Thursday, 10
September, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk is on a working visit to the Slovak Republic.
The PM is meeting
with President of Slovakia Andrej Kiska.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk is also to meet with Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert
Fico and Chairman of the Slovak Parliament Peter Pellegrini.
The agenda of
talks with the leadership of Slovakia provides a wide range of issues of
bilateral cooperation, including security, energy and trade issues, humanitarian
cooperation as well as European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.
The visit
includes signing of bilateral intergovernmental documents relating to
cooperation in the areas of energy efficiency, energy-saving and renewable
energy as well as cooperation in physical culture and sports.
Recall, that on
September 9, Arseniy Yatsenyuk
was on a working visit to Warsaw, where he held his first meeting with new
President of Poland Andrzej Duda.
In the framework
of his visit to Poland, the Prime Minister of Ukraine also met with his Polish
counterpart Ewa Kopacz.
It was signed an
agreement between the Governments of Poland and Ukraine on granting credit
assistance of 100 million euros, which provides
funding for projects on development of border road infrastructure and
construction of border crossing points of the Ukrainian-Polish border. It was also signed an agreement on
the Ukrainian-Polish Youth Exchange Council, which aims to establish a
mechanism of bilateral cooperation for youth exchanges, cooperation and
strengthening relations between youth representatives of both countries.
