Ukraine should consider the establishment of similar associations to ensure consolidation of efforts and cooperation in the most promising markets. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko at the China Trade Association opening ceremony in Kyiv.

"The opening of the China Trade Association is viewed by us as an opportunity for investment in Ukraine, as well as the possibility to export Ukrainian goods to China," stressed Hennadii Zubko.

The Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine noted that by the year’s end it was planned to summon the third meeting of the Cooperation Commission between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the People's Republic of China: "We will have a great opportunity to exchange views with our Chinese counterparts regarding the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in trade and economic sphere".

"We are grateful to the Chinese investors for the support provided to Ukraine in infrastructure building," said Hennadii Zubko.

The official reminded about the cooperation with the CITIC company from China and signing the Memorandum on joint implementation of a project on social housing construction in Ukraine, which provides for granting a loan to Ukraine worth US $ 15 billion at minimum interest for a period of 15 years with possible extension.

“I hope that in the future, both Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the China Trade Association would contribute to the development of trade and economic relations between Ukrainian and Chinese businesses", stressed Hennadii Zubko.

The Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine accentuated that "the friendly support of the Chinese side is significant for our state". "In turn Ukraine will pay every effort to ensure the comprehensive development of Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation and to create favorable conditions for that", he promised.
